i was using virtual box today and i saw there was an update(4.0.6)
so i downloaded it and then installed it
then i tried to make a new virtual machine
everything went fine till i tried to open up the machine
a message came up that said something like
Aborted: Kernel Driver is missing
is this an update error or is this my fault and i would have to fix it manually or something else

There may have been an issue when the virtual machine kernel driver was being updated.
You can try uninstall, reboot and reinstall and see if that solves it.
Apparently there is also a way to manually install the driver by right clicking vboxdrv.inf in the install directory and choosing install.
