Re: Offline SQL sync

You could output the online DB to a JSON file via PHP and then have the desktop app read and display the JSON whoever you want. Basic example of PHP script: <?php $DBConnection = mysqli_connect($servername, $username, $password, $dbname); $sql = "SELECT * FROM tablename"; $result = mysqli_query($DBC...

Re: PETE

Hi,

That looks quite good. I like the overall theme and layout of the calendar lists and the name "PETE" is very imaginative.

Perhaps you could post a video of it in action :D

Re: Running application on other computer?

What is the DLL for/from?

It could be that you require something be installed on the other PC that is needed by the DLL.

Re: How to remove click event handlers from a flowlayoutpanel

Is this a control you've made yourself?

In any case you should just be able to remove the handler thus so:

Code: Select all

RemoveHandler FlowLayoutPanelName.Click, AddressOf FlowLayoutPanelName_Click

Stepping back and going Retro

Hi Coders, I've seen a lot of members, guests and some new members on the site over the last few months but it goes without saying that our beloved site just isn't as active as it once was. I understand this to be for a number of reasons (as I've said many many times before): People have lost intere...

In fact we'll be here for as long as the internet exists ... and as long as we continue to pay the ...

Re: Visual Studio Code

It's not bad and you don't need a VB download, it is an all-rounder coding UI. Visual Studio code lets you create/edit files in vb, c#, c++, java, html, css etc

I have it and it comes in handy for various tasks. It's not a full dev kit though.
