It is Vista. The UAC absolutely sucks. When you try and access the program files you have a lot of problems. I used to have this problem all the time and never solved it. Changed to Windows 7 now and don't get the same problem here.

Do not change any of the syntax to make it like your own language. There really is no point. What you would be best off doing would be to create your own library which has some very useful functions such as parsing etc. You could also create a new controls library which would include better controls...

I'm currently using Qios and it was working great until a few days ago when i didn't even touch it.. Warnings were appearing which prevented me from viewing my main form. Which is quite annoying.... :|

It's in C# but you could compile it into a library and use that if you were to program it in VB.Net.
