Hey guys, this post is just a small follow-up to the recent meeting we had with Microsoft

Well, as said, we just had a meeting with Microsoft, and I just wanted to tell you guys what happened
They started off by visiting us at school, as we, and they, was going to hold a presentation about programming/computer developing.
Then, afterwards, there were a few journalists who asked us all kind of questions.
After that we went to my place (where we usually work), and started talking about several things.
We showed them our programs, and they showed us a lot of things we didn't know was possible in visual studio.
At the end they gave us a license worth $300 000 (2 million nok), and then we got to try the new windows surface lol, best day of my life. So, yeah, this was my short version of how the meeting with Microsoft went.


NOTE: I feel like i'm bragging alot, please be aware that this is just a follow up for the people who is interested. And I do not mean to brag. ^^

Haha, thanks ^^ Well, they said that they liked our programs, but that we should start making Windows Store apps (XAML), the only thing is that it is much more limited than reguler vb.net, so we have to figure out an idea that doesnt require access to the register etc.. :P

Hey, don't be so tough on yourself lol. It's not bragging. You're proud of yourself, and with very good reason.

Congratulations on your achievement. It's nice to see how members here evolve and turn out to be situations where great opportunities are present.

You're very lucky congratulations on your achievement! For someone your age you should be very proud of yourself. I've heard of several people now who have had meetings with Microsoft I think it's fantastic. Yes share those tips with us too!
