No sound after plugging in speakers while playing black ops

So, I was playing black ops with my headphones on, I got sick of them so I decided to turn on my speakers instead, but they didn't work, so I plugged my headphones back in and now there is no sound at all :?

Your sound driver may come with a utility for enabling speaker ports, it is worth checking that.
Also you should make sure the correct playback device is set as the default.
