Hey guys,

Just wondering cause this school is running VB 2008 Express Edition...
What is the difference between that and the version that most of you guys are running?
But please correct me if I'm wrong cause all this stuff is rather confuzzling :D

Thanks,

2008/2005 allow you to use functions of the .Net runtime, whereas version 6 has its own runtime with less features. The syntax is slightly different between them as well.

Vb6 is easier to code sometimes and can be harder. Vb6 is capable of a lot mandai but not as much as .NET. I like .NET for smaller simple apps but VB 2010 for larger apps.
