also if i drag preview into the tab control and i switch back and forward the tabs to check how it looks it just starts flickering stuff all over and crashes

Works fine on Windows 7 Home Edition (64 bit)
but upon pressing new document it freezes momentarily

I get the same exception as dj1437 when using this in XP SP3 32-bit, though win 7 SP1 32-bit seems ok.
When this runs it keeps trying to download a template from codeproject.
