Hello,
Lately I have seen a lot of members joining groups mainly just to get the group rank/color or just for the sake of being a member of it which is not what groups are about and you shouldnt join them if you have no intention of actively taking part in the group.
Groups are here so you can take part in projects and discussions within your group related to whatever the group is about and it identifies you as being knowledgeable in a specific subject for example the VB6ers group is for members who use VB6 and Designers is for members who are passionate about graphics/music/video design. We also have other groups such as Girls Club which you should only join if you are a girl (Its for female members to get together and have a chat) and French Coders is for members who speak french and want to share tutorials etc written in French.
The point is you shouldnt join a group if your not interested in what its about and if you do join a group then you should be an active participant in it. A lot of groups have had little or no activity for a long time and soon these groups will be removed or past onto someone else because theres no point keeping them if they dont get used.
So please only join a group if you are interested in what its about and will be an active participant in it. If you are a group leader it is upto you to maintain your group and get your members to participate and if you have any members who dont take part then you should remove them.
Thank you cooll;

I think you are right, and i think every group leader should remove members that are not active, in my group, I will start off with a group project and all that don't want to join in and help i'm afraid will have to be removed from the group.

Nailing my feet to the floor is easier than using my own muscles to balance, but you don't see me doing that
