I just found a Site with a Tutorial and i Set UP my sc_serv.ini File and started the ShoutCast Server and soo it looks on startup
Image
Anyway it seems to be something not right with the Port ?!

After that i started Winamp and started the ShoutCast Plug In i also set up there everything and clicked on Connect there is says me something with "Cipher Response recieved"
Have i Set Up everything right or why its not working ?!
I tried to Connect to the Radio trough VLC Player with "http://myipaddress:8000"
8000 is the Port that the Radio use.
Make i somthing wrong ?1

And is it possible to run the Radio trough a FTP or something without that i have my PC running all the Day ?!

Soo Guys a little Update it seems that my Radio is Online...
But i can only connect to it trough http://localhost:8000 ?!
And the Server Window from ShoutCast says this:
Code: Select all
<04/04/11@02:54:56> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak)
<04/04/11@02:54:56> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (URL: http://my-ip:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache.)
I changed my IP in the Text to "my-ip" since i dont want that someone get my IP to hack my PC :D

I'm not familiar with ShoutCast, but if that NAT error is anything to go by then you might need to forward the port that is being used to host the service.

Have you allowed all InBound Traffic to the ShoutCast Server?
Not the computer Firewall.
The main Firewall that is installed in your ISP Modem.

I use ShoutCast for my Station. Have been for yours.
The error you are getting
Code: Select all
yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (URL: http://my-ip:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache.)
mean the the shoutcast.com host server can not connect to you to varify the connection before it can add you to there "Station List".

SO this means the Port:8000 and/or 8001 are NOT allowing InBound Internet Traffic.

Ok,
is it because of this Settings in my sc_serv.ini ?!
Code: Select all
DestIP=ANY
SrcIP=127.0.0.1
EDIT:
It cant be because of my Router FireWall the Firewall there is disabled since i am using the Function" Use as DSL Router"
