Dual Boot

ok so i currently have windows xp installed
but i have also downloaded and bought win7
so how do i boot up win7 but when it want
shutdown the computer then start it up with xp running

Do you want 2 windows installed on one computer? Just install the second one then (but don't choose format option). And then the next time you will reboot, it will prompt an option as to which window to load.

Or you can keep only Windows 7 and install XP Mode from the Microsoft website.
Instead of LOL use this -
LSIBMHBIWFETALOL

Which means -
Laughing silently in between my head because it wasn't funny enough to actually laugh out loud!

If you install a newer OS the older won't be erased. As Usman said, don't format the disc, just select the primary partition where your xp was installed on. I suggest you to create a backup IF something goes wrong. Take out the install disc after first shutdown :P Installing windows is just like installing a program so it won't be hard at all.

and install win7 on that
I'm currently triple-booting :P

thanks axel but im kinda a newbie to win7 and i dont know how to connect to the internet with a wireless router i tried going to connect to the network but i didnt work please help :)

but I don't have wifi here I'm connected with a cable

well i tried that so i went to apadter settings and saw i dont have an ethernet or internet driver installed soooo where do i get one?

You should contact your system/component manufacturer and they should be able to get you the driver.

ok well what i did was search my C drive for drivers not my e drive whch my win7 is istalled on and the c drive had the xp so when i finished scanning my c drive it found my wifi adapter drivver software :)
