Well me being mainly a Linux user, and most of the users on here develop apps for Windows, well cause most of the users develop software using VB which requires the .NET Framework which WINE on Linux runs Windows apps on Linux, but if it requires the .NET Framework they don't work unless Mono is installed, and I've been having nothing but problems with it.
Not to mention video editing on Linux I never had a problem with when screencasting, but only with my camcorder, and the quality isn't as good when I edit videos on Linux than on Windows.
I'll mainly be using Windows now for Video editing, and testing out your guys's apps, but other then that I'm going to remain a Linux user. (BTW: Encase you're wondering I'm using GParted to do this. I could use UNetbootin to do this, but GParted makes it easier, and faster)
Now why XP, and not Windows 7? Well I don't need all the extra features that Vista, and Windows 7 offer, and the truth of the matter is I don't like Windows 7, and the reasons why I'll remain to myself, as I had a bunch of annoying personal problems rather than others that are fine for the average user.
I tried to install Snow Leopard, but unfortunately my 4GB flash drive is to small to install it, which is why I'm going to Windows XP. Although I would like to try the video editors that are available for OS 10.
Anyway the reason I'm posting this is, cause I'll be starting a website called Top VB Software where the best/most unique apps that have been develop in VB will be listed on the site. Like CamStudio for example.
So start listing some apps you think are worth it, and they may get added on the site.
