Is my desktop supposed to be slow?

Also Google chrome uses a lot of memory, so if you are using GC, this can be your problem.

I know 4 ways
1: First way is that you could install more RAM to your motherboard, its one way.
2: Defrag your hard drive! It will increase the disks speed, by reading it from 1,2,3...10 instead of 1, 4, 2, 10, 5, 6 etc...
3: Second way is to make sure you do not have any spyware or viruses.
4: Third way is to scan your hard drives for any disk errors
