I cant boot!
MrAksel
I tried to install ubuntu on a separate partition (which is on the same harddisk as my Windows partition) and when I boot now it says
Multiple active partitions
blabla copyright
No bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key
I have no CD/USB stick to boot from either, so is it possible to fix this in the boot menu?

If you have nothing to boot from (windows cd etc) then try the boot menu options F8 or something. Ive never encountered that error but because you have nothing to boot from im not entirely sure what you can do :? lol

This does not sound like a BIOS issue.

You would need to turn off the active flag on one of the partitions to allow the bootloader to continue.
You will need to boot from a different device to do this.
You could use the fdisk command to toggle the bootable flag.

It's not a BIOS issue, it happened because I installed ubuntu next to windows, on a separate partition, but on the same harddrive. I'll install Linux to my cameras SD card and boot from there.

I have Ubuntu Installed on the same Harddrive as Vista on a seperate Partition....

If you are not on Vista then thats the Problem

Okay, then It might be that 'active partition' flag. My dads computer has restrictions because it is from his job so I can't use any .iso to SD/USB program so ill just have to wait till tomorrow.
