Computer Build Problem
Cheatmasterbw
I am having trouble with a computer build project I am working on. On my motherboard, there is a 2x12 power input, and a 2x2 power input. My power supply only has a 2x12 power cable, and not a 2x2 cable. I have a 2x4 cable that is not being used, so I am wondering if there is a way to convert the 2x8 cable to a 2x2 cable.

Help is much appreciated :)

So you have a 24-pin motherboard connector, but the P4 connector is missing?

You could use an adapter to change a molex connector to a P4 connector.

I accidentally found out that the 8 pin connector is two 4 pin connectors snapped together, so I just needed to un-snap them.
