Hey All,
Are there any of you on here who have done anything with 3D printing? If you have, what are your thoughts? What problems have you encountered, what do you like/dislike about it? Which printers have you used?
Thanks

I haven't had any experience with 3D printing yet myself which is mainly due to the cost of it all. I think at the moment it is just too expensive for me and to be honest I have no idea what I would print even if I had one lol

Hey
I have a 3d printer, a XYZ 1.0
I bought it about a year back and the first thing i did when i got it was to flash the firmware to Repetier - Host Software, And you do that by installing Arduino and doing it through that. They are great machines and the reason I got one was I love Photography and have collected many many Cameras over the years and wanted to make my own Camera. They are a learning curve like most things but on the whole they are pretty easy to use. There are tons of vids on Youtube for the beginer, so sorting out a problem to quite easy.

I've joined a local Makerspace now and they have a laser cutter.
Exciting stuff!
I've laser cut some acrylic for an iot thermal printer and this morning I laser cut a box of dominoes.
Can't wait to share everything with you guys that I'm working on.
