Hello all, I hvae been working on a "Request" project form my radio station. Thanks to some great help that I have gotten from members of this board. (Credits will be included within the app.) I would like to share my project with all of you. It is build with VB2008 of course. and all functions of the app is based on XML and all data is stored on a MySQL server. SO here we go!
This is the Main Form..very simple very clean doesnt take up alot of space.

After choosing a Band from the list, you get this window.

Then you can choose what Album you would like to view. After choosing your album, you will be able to choose a track from the album. Below is the "Request from. This form is updated when every you choose any option.
When you have made your choose. Just click the "Request" button. This will send the requested information to my server and I will see it in my sister app that monitors the table in that database. Then I can play the request.
If you wish to add a comment or a dedication to the request I added a form for that aswell.
The "Custom" link at the bottom of the window, only change Background and Text color for the Form and the data area.

Thats about it for the custom section.
If you right click the "Track List" you can open another menu to view the Tracks information.

Althought this functions is not 100% complete, it is still pretty cool.
That is about all I have right now. I am still working on some things. But I wanted to show everyone my new project.

casirus wrote::) very nice... you have a nice radio set up too.. i do two one for me one for another site can i ask why such a small user cap ? or do you have a secondery with a higher cap ?No just the one. I have never had more then 4 listeners at one time so why waste the system resources on open slots.
Add The Beatles! I will love you! Also, can i have the download link?

It isn't boring to me. I have been envolved with music one way or another for over 30 years. Music is as much part of me as breathing is. As for my software, I use WinAmp Jr. For the player, ShoutCAST Server. And a combination of software that I have created for variouse purposes.

Hi Scottie
This is great and just shows what Fantastic stuff people are creating and credit where credit's due, looks really Professional, so well done, keep up with it because I think that might be worthy of AN Award sometime soon, also the rest of your Radio is just Stunning and a pure work of Art...
Thanks for sharing your Talents with us all
regards
Chris
