made this, but with out Photoshop! I used Paint.NET! And i made an amazing Brushed Alumninum skin! Now i just need to know how to make the form a costum shapw for it to work...
Hi
Yes you can use other Packages like Paint/Gimp or others that let you create backgrounds, I use Photoshop as i have been using it for many years and I find that it is the Ultimate Package for everything that i need too do.

Heres how to use your Image as a Background (Borderless Form Image)

Create a Form in VB
Create your Shape/Background then put it in the RESOURCES/IMAGES in VB
Load the Image from your Resources as the FORM BACKGROUND IMAGE
Set your Form Border style to NONE
Change your Background (Form) Colour to say "Silver" or whatever colour you like
Then Change the Transparency Key "Colour" to the same colour

Then Run your App and you should have the Borderless form

Hope this Helps

Thanks! I made my own skin for an up and coming program called KeyKeeper. I was simple, purple and white, but it looks much more pro then my other apps.
