Well I have seen a few sites advertised on here with exact same categories that we have and some do feel like we have been cloned a bit lol.

Theres nothing wrong with people making their own programming site BUT I think you would have a better chance of making a success of it if you did something different and not like Codenstuff.com or other programming sites/forums. For example create a site thats dedicated to programming videos so instead of people having to search sites like youtube for a tutorials they can goto your site which has only programming videos and nothing else..personally I think that would be handy.

Or setup a site which is dedicated to custom controls so people can download/upload/search for custom controls.

Or a site for project templates, icons, sounds, themes etc.

Making a site dedicated to one particular resource can be a very good thing and you could get your site listed on other related sites. Its like if I want to host a video online I goto youtube because thats what they do, if I want to host an image online I goto tinypic or photobucket because thats what they do..If someone made a site about custom controls and I needed a control I would goto your site..because thats what you do!. If I want to share my tutorials, get help and share my software in a clean and friendly environment I come to Codenstuff because thats what we do ;)

I have never tried to create a CodenStuff clone (if you mean me), because i know there will always only be 1 CodenStuff, the best one out there.
