i thought the version always depended on what build you are on
or is that something else?
aside from that really nice GUI look and its easy to use, does it have an auto-updater so we dont have to download the newer version every time it comes out?

The build has nothing to do with the version (in this case).

Next version will have that (2.1), It doesn't have that as of now.
