Re: Laptop Or Desktop???

Well remember that a notebook is a "portable desktop", and a netbook is more of a laptop, which is mainly for the web/net. So I see you're looking for a notebook, being a "portable desktop" there's plenty of good laptops out there, I got mine back when Vista was released so it was quite awhile ago, but I do everything on this, and it runs fine (except running games, and game development, as I need to upgrade my graphics card)
I stick with laptops (notebooks specifically) cause if I'm going to be gone from my home in a week or more I take it with me so I can work on projects, and such. I have a spare battery charger (power cord) in my laptop bag, and I keep one here at the house, but if you're going to be moving around, it maybe a good idea to stick with a laptop, but if you're computer is just gonna sit in one place, and never be moved, then choose a desktop. (Like I said I stick with a laptop that way I can bring this everywhere I go, but it's kind of hard being 15' LCD screen, and the laptop alone being 16.5')
Now the AVADirect Silverstone Raven Desktop Gaming PC is the fastest gaming pc, and maybe the fastest computer to date, but it's pretty pricey at $6,650
The MALIBAL Nine X7200 Laptop is a beast of a laptop, with the starting price being at $2,075.
Now if you're looking for a cheap, but powerful gaming laptop then you can look into the Toshiba Satellite A665-3DV 3D Gaming Laptop it's price is $1,050, but actually trying this myself it's worth it, great performance, and everything, plus it's cheap for a gaming laptop.
