Do you think you'll finish this game anytime soon?

Is this the type of battle system you were on about?. Turn based and choosing to attack with your main weapon or use attack spells on the enemy. Yes it looks a bit plain at the moment but im just trying to get everything working lol.
An inventory for your items, spells, food and weapons and the ability to mine materials and forge new weapons etc. Mainly about the battles though so you gain experience and can use more advance weapons/spells and defeat stronger enemies.

That looks great CodenStuff! Is there smooth movement in it? Or is it still box to box?

Yeah, it looks good but you definitely should play DragonFable to see what I really mean by turn-based attacks.

I agree with Usman. Also you should add code credits instead of cash for buying items lol.

Well a turn based battle system is like this: First you attack the enemy and then the enemy attacks you..then you attack the enemy and then the enemy attacks you..so you take it in turns to attack each other. DragonFable is turn based just like im doing it but DragonFable uses flash with loads of animated graphics and I obviously cant do that in VB it would take forever lol. It will have some attack animations in battles though.
Its almost identical to my first attempt at the game but I think this one will be better because its all about collecting items, combining items to create spells and upgrading your weapons so you make yourself stronger so you can defeat harder enemies and big "boss" ones.
The Multiplayer (MMO) parts of the game will let each player make their own "Zone" using a built in editor and you can put enemies in it to guard it and all the other players will be able to enter your zone and try to beat it. You will be able to put a sortof trade box in your zone which you can put unwanted items in and other players can trade items with you.
Using code credits to buy game items sounds like an interesting idea CoderBoy but ill wait and see if you like the demo first before I try do that stuff.
Hopefully it will turn out good but we will have to wait and see lol. Im just making a short demo at the moment and if people like it then ill continue and finish it completely cooll;

I really like the idea. And it really doesn't matters whether it has animations or not cuz having 'em will just make it slow.

Nice multiplayer idea Craig. Also I was just joking about the code credits to buy stuff.
