Hello Coders,

We all know the site has had 3-4 makeovers since 2009 and each one has made the site better as we grow, the current theme is my favorite. However, the site still isn't optimized for use on tablets or phones and this has been very frustrating to get right and at the same time maintain the sites functionality and security.

Hopefully, before the end of September, I will be upgrading the site to use the latest software and fix any glitches and vulnerabilities that may still be present. We will have a brand new theme that will be optimized for all devices and browsers. The overall look of the site (primarily the colour scheme) will remain mostly the same but things will be massively improved.

We won't stop at simply upgrading the look and feel of the site we'll also be upgrading our hosting to make the site faster and allow us to add loads more features with more space and processing power behind them. I have already spent quite a while in my spare time working on this upgrade and it is coming along nicely, I think you'll all be happy with the changes once they happen.

I'll update further as I progress.

Sweet can't wait

You may have noticed that the update I had planned didn't happen as expected in September.

The reason for this is because it is taking me a bit longer to sort out the database upgrade as well as the fact that I'm in the process of moving house in a couple of weeks time. That means that most of my time will be spent packing and it may be a couple of weeks before I have internet access at my new address.

However, the update WILL happen this year and it will happen before Christmas.
