Hello,
I have noticed alot of the new people's post counts only go too five and that is what you need too download something so this just seems weird.

I think it should be at least 20 post for downloads, but kinda a shame that they dont stay...

Maybe this would work:
New members(under 25 posts) must have their posts approved by a moderator. The download limit would be 25. Worth a try?

Hello,
Its difficult either way because it alienates new members who genuinely want to be part of our community. If they need to make 25 posts and wait for them to be approved before they can download something then they will most likely just post at random anyway so they can make those 25 posts and start downloading quicker. So it doesnt really matter if we have it at 5 or 25 approved or unapproved because they will just do the same as they are doing now.
I have been working on a download "credits" feature as part of the rewards system which works like for X number of posts a user makes they gain 1 download credit. The feature isnt finished yet and is just 1 idea im playing around with.

I am VERY annoyed by these SPAMMERS >:(
