My contract with my telephone and broadband provider (BT) has ended so I just phoned them up to renew and pester them for a deal on my charges which went great at first. They reduced my broadband charge from £25 a month to £15 a month and "upgraded" my line speed to 20mb and then came the sales pitch :shock:

I originally phoned to renew my contract and get cheaper bills which I have done.......BUT not only am I getting phone and broadband as I always have but at a lower charge im now also getting a TV package and im going to be paying more per month than I was before I made the phone call even though my bills have been reduced goofy;

Whats going on lol. I have no idea what happened and I need to lay down :? :? :?

mmm Looks like you got talked into it, You have to be firm with these People, Phone them back up and tell them you dont want to be paying more than you were for your Services, Also it pays to say, You are thinking of switching as you dont think you are getting as a good deal as some of your Friends and Family with other ISP's.

But as you have done it already then i think you will have to stick with it till you next come up for Re-Newing.

But its something to think on, for next time

And yes it does work, they will bend over backwards ( oooeeeerrr ) to keep you as a customer.
