Simply have to agree with CodexVideos.. THE PRIZE SUCKS!! :O.. 100 credits?.. i have like 20 and i cant even use them?,, the projects and products you can buy with them sucks :S.. so i really dont find any reason using credits and getting 100 more for creating a logo?.. You should pay people instead, or put some ads at your website to the winners website, just for a month etc.. anything.. cause this sucks..
- and you ain't adding new software, tutorials and stuff?.. HOW ABOUT SOME UPDATES, CodeNstuff please?.. its getting old.. and the Arcade.. well does not belongs in a Code forum?..
Not to offend, but i stopped using this Community way ago, because its getting so old, no updates, no COOL features, a arcade(sucks) how about just a better prize?, well, i already made 4 logos, 2 animated and 2 still images, low filesize nice quality and awesome design.. but i really don't wanna win this sh*t NOT EVEN TRY, i wanna let other people who want 100 credit(which is useless)...
And the Designs is getting so 1995 look-a-like.. its a boring, sad colored form with ugly buttons etc. like the media players and stuff.. how about Web 2.0 layouts?.. thats attractive, and will get more popular.. instead of a old app look a like.. we're in 2010, how about making apps that looks like?..
just telling.. cool forum, but so sad designs, tutorials, software & the arcade should leave this community.. Online games is found at EVERY game website?.. let them keep the games, and then go for upgrade the Tutorials and softwares and designs..

I have moved your post because its not really about the contest.

The contests are not always about winning great prizes its something fun to do and take part in between projects. The Christmas logo contest already has loads of entries so the prize cant be that bad..I think the chance to have your logo design displayed on the site throughout December and seen by everyone is a great prize and the credits will come in handy for downloads and other features in the new year.

You can see alot of members websites listed on the home page and ANY of our members can have their site listed on there completely free and forever. You said the site has no "COOL" features then what features would you like to see?

The site always being updated with new layouts/features/content and personally I really like the way it looks its clean and doesnt have useless stuff or advertisements thrown all over the place like most other sites.

I really like this site, personally i think the design STARTS to get a bit boring, but what do we have the settings for? Ill bet cody is trying to add more skins and themes. And the buttons, they are OKAY, i have seen them on another site, exact same, i dont know who of you that stole them from each other, but i am OKAY with them. And if you dont wanna be here, you can just STOP being here!
And you are far from having explored everything on this site if you havent seen the links at the homepage where everyone can have their sites linked for FREE!

The design is from phpBB, so there are quite a few websites with the same layout.

I personally think that this is an amazing site!

As Codenstuff has said its a Contest and the Prize really does not matter as that is just a little extra for the Winner/s... Its about the taking part, Thats what Codenstuff is all about cooll;

2) NiBiCTm, please stop it, by posting up arguments you are showing that you only care about yourself, and stop being so rude. You shouldn't use my post as an example, because thats not what i meant, I wasn't saying that the prizes suck and stuff like that.

3) CodenStuff, like i have said in my previous post, which i don't think you saw, can we have the contest longer?

4) This is the only website that has this cool layout, other websites don't have it like this, they have the ugly standard layout. And remember this is a phpBB forum, so its hard to have what ever you want. This website doesn't even have a cool layout, but it has cool add-ons/modifications!

I didnt delete the contest its still in the contest section: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=3829&start=0 I just extracted NiBiCTm's post into the boardroom because its more of a discussion.

Alot of the layout on the site is unique to us and you wont see it on other phpbb style sites and come the new year the site will change even more. It takes alot of work and time to maintain and update a site and the site has changed massively since we first started last year and will continue to change all the time. cooll;
