-Rep, +Rep, What the fish?

Hello everyone,
Nowadays, i have seen that some of the codenstuff members are becoming a bit rude. They -rep everyone who they see progressing and become jealous but they never +rep anyone for something good. For example, mandai and macHard. They both keep on -repping people for silly reasons. You can see my reputation comments for an example. I have just become tired of this.
So does anyone have a solution for this? Should the reputation points be removed? I don't think they should be cuz they are a lot of help. So anything else?

Well, in my opinion, spam is a perfect reason for -rep.
But, on the other hand, stuff like:
* Copied
* Double Post
* Stupid
Shouldn't be reasons.
Copied, who cares? It was a good enough thing to repost.
Double post, you can't help it.
Stupid, so what? That is an opinion.
But, NO, I think the rep should be there. It causes anger sometimes, but it shows what people think of you, and if they think down of you, it helps you to become a better member.

you are the one that shouldn't be whining like that... you derep for no reason
you should be glad i warned you when i wanted to derep you( instead of -rep , i +repped you with a warning attached to it)
don't try to be the fair one please, i saw you derepping too
and like reboh , there are enough reasons to derep (spam , trying to get 5 posts so they can dl)

Thats for new members, the 5 posts thing. But I just derepped the people who derepped me. I'm not a rude person, I want to be friends with everyone!

im not a rude person either , but when someone dereps me for no reason and then promises that hes gonna +rep me back and doesn't do that , then i derep back

The whole point of the reputation system is for members to "rate" eachother on what they contribute and how they behave on site etc. Everyone is free to give + or - rep but if keep getting -reps from a single member and you think they are doing out of spite then you can let me know and I will take a look and take appropriate action against that member.
