New Subforum Suggestion - General Off-topic

Hello,
I think we need a "General Off-Topic" subforum.
It would not increase your post count.
It would not be a source to talk about programming at all.
Because, I think the Boardroom is the source for most of our post counts, and we post there too much with stuff totally unrelated to programming. Or we could just rename the boardroom "General Off-Topic" and turn off increasing the post count. Post if you agree!

Normally you only have post counts turned off where the posts aren't really meaningful like in the games room or if we had a spam section. If there was an off topic section I think there should still be a post count for it.

I know, but the thing is, this forum is a forum based around programming. The boardroom, however, has nothing whatsoever to do with the topic the forum was made for, and should not be counted as true posts. Maybe we could have a separate post count for off-topic posts? Like in the boardroom, I once saw a topic that said something totally and completely unrelated to programming. Most new members to forums think of posts as marking your helpfulness and if I posted in the boardroom "I like Hershey's Choco", that really shouldn't show people I am helpful, should it?

I agree with this idea. Everyone gets at least 25%of his posts from the board room so post count should be turned in the board room.
