I noticed in one of my topics that NecroPhis had decompiled AND posted the code to one of my programs. I have nothing against that program since its not my code, but in the site rules its says:
7) You must NOT post/discuss/share any information about patching/cracking/disassembling/hacking of software products anywhere on the site including the chat box and PMs. This rule also applies to applications/software posted on Codenstuff.com you must NOT hack/disassemble/decompile anything submitted by our members. If you are caught doing so you will be banned from the site without warning. We have a zero tolerance against any illegal activity on the site.

As a member of this website, and a victim of someone decompiling my code. and all MOD privileges aside. I have to say the following.

I really find it disturbing that stuff like this is still going on.
There is visual proof from the victim and an omission of guilt by the offender.

The website rules are very clear and have to be agreed to at the creation of a user's account. So in a case like this what do you do?

Do you give a warning to the offender?
Do you do a ban on the offender?
Do you delete the offended post and replys?

Only the Administration can decide what action to take.

I think since it was a blatant violation of the website rules, There should be a Poll created and voted on to either ban the offender or not.

This has been my 2 bits worth.

Errm , no... Proprogrammer shared the code and this code is exactly the same like he wrote it
So don't get him banned
And I decompile sometimes too but not if its unnecessary (I do it when my antivirus says its a virus)

Does not matter why you choose to decompile someones else program.
It is a violation of the website rules.

You just omitted to breaking a major rule of the website!
Should a ban be placed on you as well?

it is illegal all together unless the author/maker of the program gives a written statement or EULA agreement to give permission to decompile a program
