.Net framework Question

If someone ONLY has .net framework 4.0 installed, can they run programs that require earlier .net framework versions? (1, 2, 3, 3.5)

Normally "Yes" cause i think Framework 4.0 should also includes Previous Versions...

yes but 1.0 is a special one(It doesn't always work with only 4.0, you'd likely need framework 1.0 installed)
