virtual box

hey i dont have windows 7 yet(i have xp and vista). On my xp computer i downloaded virtual box and windows 7 beta iso to test it out and it currently installing right now. but i have a question does it make a new driver such as the main one the "C:\" drive as most people will know it. so if it makes a new driver will it install all the files i have on the
windows 7 onto the new drive not the C:\ drive i didnt really read the intructions blusho;

No it does not make another partition, either you can upgrade or install and the installer will put the old files into Windows.old
But windows 7 is really nice, it's the nicest operating system from Microsoft.

I think you should install it on to your drive :)

I installed windows 7 over my second partition and that worked fine. I thought all my files on that partition would be lost but they still were there.
If you install it on the same partition it will ask you to put the windows folder in windows.old but all other folders will remain.(not the registry, thats on a hidden partition I guess)
I pirated windows (sorry lol) first because I was guessing it was another messy mistake like vista. Then I purchased it :)
