I have this crazy ass virus and this is what happens:

I can't use disks, play music, videos, run programs that make computers changes ie MS Uninstall a program wont open, I cant run my anti virus program, I cant install new software, I can't use Flash on web pages or my pc will crash, my default web browser changes, a thing keeps popping up to install programs, I can't change my desktop picture because it wont let me open anything from my desktop, i cant do a system restore because it has a catastrophic error.

It was working this morning, I played backyard monsters on fb as I do very morning when i get ready for school came home and it wasn't working properly, also my pc keeps trying to do updates, I cant open the updates and the updates dont install

Any help?

Get the installation disc. Format the partition the virus was installed on and install the new os. Else i have no idea what you can do if it blocks everything.

If you don't have windows install disc you can burn it on another computer from a torrent or use linux. If you don't have blank cd's you can use a usb but make sure your pc can boot off the usb (you can change settings in bios)

The virus shouldn't prevent you from booting the disc till windows is started...

If nothing helps buy new computer :(

It corrupted all my system files, even in safe mode etc it wouldnt work.
i fixed it but what I did was restart the pc and press F8 and entered repair mode, system restore still did not work so I choose to restore pc to manufacture settings, I lost everything, it took ages but my pc is fixed now :(

format ur harddrive and re install windows, and then get an antivirus program like AVG or avast!

I have Microsoft Security Essentials

you might also want to get malware bytes. just saying.

I've found that microsoft security essentials does not work well. I use Avast, and it works amazingly for me

your brother probaly watching those inappropriate videos again :P

if i ever got a virus what i do is make a new account then do everything there
and it usually works out fine and if you cant make a new account
if that doesnt work
or installation disk doesnt work
or rebooting safe mode with networking doesnt work
try old fashioned task manager
or try opening your files and go to your main harddrive and either give yourself ownership and full control or give yourself no control im not sure which one because you could either stop the vrus from spreading or allow you to edit any of your files

you can try to
click start
right click my computer
click properties
click device manager
click disk drive
click what comes up
select update driver software
then browse my computer for driver software then select your default/main harddrive and search for it

also you may want to try the same for all drivers in the system devices section too


and one last thing you can try is open registrary editor(regedit)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->MICROSOFT->ACTIVE SETUP->and setup "disable Repair" to 0 and if i am correct 0=no dont disable repair

None of those were working at all. My pc is fixed now though which is good
