Hey there....


Well just posting the project that I am working on

It is called MiOn it is supposed to be an Instant Messaging program just like skype msn and yahoo..

Have been working hard on the signing in part(works perfect)haven't spent time on creating account part but i can fix that in few minutes since i finally learned the basics of SQL.
Also got the chatting working but now I want it to make it like you add you friends account and then start to chat when he is in your list by double clicking him.
I made my server.. making the server and chat client was hard since I am just a beginner now I want to learn to chat with only friends in list.learning how to insert the voice chat I know few things but still hard to make a start.

Any Help is welcome..and if you want to join me with my project your welcome
I'm planning to bring this out on the market when it works like it should work.
Gonna put my money on it as well to finish this to a professional program.

First of all, you should get an icon for it if your going to sell it. After that i would recommend to do something with the white tetboxes, they dont look very pretty to the background.
Have you made the code for sending messages? If you have, and you use FTP, then you should really reconsider it. FTP is terrible slow and uses ALOT of bandwidth. I have quite a bit of knowledge in TCP, and im learning more every day. So i would be glad to help you with that.
Have you thought about sending images? I can help with that too Or even live video wahooo;

Hey, nice work. I (if you want) could help you making some custom controls (textboxes etc)

Use TCP/IP to do Chat,with that u can also do Video/Speech Chat and File Transfer,Messaging etc

This program is written in VS 2008 and is based on TCP,I don't know if some of you knows how to work with this..
