I've been noticing the increasing amount of numbers users have been posting topics in wrong sections of the forum. (not gonna name any names)

The point of this topic is not just to remind these users to look before they post, but also maybe find a small solution to help the users so when their getting ready to post a topic in the wrong section some quick tips are shown before the post is submitted.

So first please guys look before you post as categorization is very important as if a topic isn't in the right section. The site will be losing traffic from say Google, because it's not in the right section. Not to mention it's easier to find, and more user friendly.

As for the quick tip, anyone have any ideas.

Maybe a tool to help you choose the appropriate section for your topic.

I would recommend having a tip displayed on each post you're about to make. (post not reply)

Well sometimes people post in the wrong section, cause they don't know where to put the post, and a permanent ban for that I think shouldn't be required. As I know we've all been there.

I still get confused where to post some topics occasionally. Like today was a perfect example, cause of this post. All that tells us is that the site needs work on categorization. That way it's more beneficial for the user, for finding content not just on Code'N'Stuff, but on Google as well, and well you should pretty much get where I'm going at by now.
