Hello,
I recently installed Windows 7 on my desktop. Once I installed 7 on my 3rd partition, I installed my programs as usual. But here's the problem. I can't find an audio driver for my sound card, and I also want to know how to force Aero on a 64mb GFX card.
Please help.

Alright, well it would be extremely useful to know your computer manufacturer, because the audio driver could be as easy as going to their website

Download AC97 for audio driver.

If you post the soundcard's device ID it might be possible to identify the correct driver.

When I enter the Device Manager, under "Other devices", there is an item called "Multimedia Audio Controller". When I view it's properties, it has absolutely no details but to "Update driver...". I am currently downloaded the driver Agust provided, and I will edit this post on whether or not the card works afterwards.
To comathi: I've already went to the manufacturer's site and looked for the model by service tag, I downloaded their driver with no luck (outdated).
Also, any details on how to force Aero? Or would I even want to, because of the performance drop?
EDIT: Thanks Agust, it worked

force aero
go to
1. Regedit.exe
2.HKEY_CURRENT_USER
3.Software
4.Windows
5. Click DWM
6. Make 3 new DWORD 32bit values
7. first name it Blur and set it to 0
8. second name it Animations and set it to 0
9. third name it UseMachineCheck and set it to 0
10. reboot
i had to do the same with my laptop

Didn't work, Bogoh, sorry. I have decided not to enable Aero, as it would have a negative effect on performance on my desktop.
