My only suggestions would be to allow the user to add a picture next to their name in the Start menu, and to make the icons larger on the desktop.

Yeah!
Pictures instead of Buttons would create a better feel for it, I like the pics.

Looks great man! But dont you get the error that there is not enough memory space left over? (i get that error ALWAYS when i add like 5 or more picture(boxes))

An OS should not have to rely on pictureboxes.

The icons are 32x32 isn't that big enough?

No I don't, and I'm not using any pictureboxes in it at the moment.
