You red it right, now everyone who doesn't have Windows 8 can enjoy the new Visual Studio 11, I downloaded and installed it last night and it works like a charm, and for the record, I find it even faster.
I love what they have done to the toolbox and the solution explorer.
Like the way you can search for components in the toolbox instead of looking all over where the hell the component you are looking for is, so you can just type the name of the component and it will appear Easy huh?

I think I'll wait until the full release is out before I get it... just to be safe :P

is is stable enough?

I tried this about a month ago. It is a developer preview so people know how to build win8 apps.

Like windows 8 this is a developer preview not a beta or final release so I wouldnt recommend people use it as their main setup and instead wait for the beta or final release.

I have it installed with windows 8 but havent paid much attention to anything new thats in it lol ive just been using it to learn programming for metro.

I'm going to wait for full release.
