ok so this question doesnt have to be solved but it would be nice
so i just got a 32inch LCD tv and i want it as a moniter as well as my gaming tv

Most new TVs these days will come with a built in VGA port, you can plug the laptop into there and enable the external display.
I'd imagine you can get cheap ones from Amazon that are around $5-$15

I dont think that low powered machine is going to do you any good in gaming. Just sayin :P

#dj1437 Yea I sold it a long time ago. I did however did get it to work, but the machine couldn't handle the resolution. I wasn't planning on doing gaming on it. I mentioned gaming because it is hooked up to my gaming consoles.
