Bonfire night

...or Guy Fawkes night whichever you prefer lol
Gunpowder, Treason & Plot - tonight November 5th is bonfire night and its going to be noisey and smokey :?
For those of you who dont know bonfire night is an event in the UK when people start big bonfires and set off a rediculous amount of fireworks and burn a scarecrow type creation of Guy Fawkes to celebrate the safety of the king (I googled it to make sure lol). Guy Fawkes was a guy who tried to blow up parliament but sadly failed and he was caught tortured and executed and aparantly whenever anything like that happens we brits like to throw a party, eat pork pie and mushy peas, try write our names in thin air incredibly fast using a sparkler and set fire to everything and hope we dont set ourselves on fire or kill any hedgehogs in the process

So if any of you are going out to a bonfire and watching fireworks tonight remember fire kills and burns so use a bucket, wear gloves, dont eat all the parkin and most importantly if you set light to a firework and it fails to go off send your least favorite person to check on it :lol:
