DJ1437 came over my house the other day (like 2 days ago from now)And we got a Playstation 1 and playstation 2 Emulator for the pc 
. Its really fun but most the games i have for the ps2, are slow, They have low FPS.

PS1 games are usually fine, but PS2 games can be very demanding on the processor.

I have a soft modded Wii that can play Snes, Gba, Gbc/gb, n64 and ps1 and ds games, the n64 games and ds games dont work well.
Have ane mulator on my pc for nearly every game console haha you can change the video/audio settings in the emulator to change how fast it runs, you can skip frames too it helps make the game run faster but you lose alot of the frames.
