It's tragic, even I have been through bullying, since I was in 4'th - 8'th grade.
But I stood up for myself, I broke a guy's nose that kept calling me names, and thank god it has stopped. For now... but there are still few that still bully me, but i ignore it..
It's makes me sad to see that people don't care about other people's feelings, it doesn't matter how you look like, or if you have any physical problems, COMON PEOPLE WE'RE ALL HUMAN BEINGS!!
Even the teachers said Stop making a complaint to us
What a low life f***ers...

Anyway here's the video
Was bullied 10-year-old driven to suicide

This reminds me of a novel I read: "Lord of the Flies" . The boys on the island discover that the real beast is themaelves.

Yeah, I've gone through bullying too, but now I just ignore the a**holes who bug me, and I let THEM look like total idiots.

I think she was too young to know what death means and that its not a game. I have been bullied before and sometimes still do but i ignore them. I think the school is the one to blame since they didnt even care when she reported it.

I understand her pain a lot, but not all kids can stand up for themselves. Bullying is not just making fun of somebody it can be physical pain and emotional pain. These kids calling her a sl** are just plain out horrible. I would never imagine myself being in her shoes thinking of just killing myself.

honestly im ok with bullying of kids that are appearence problems (unless they're born with it) because it is the own parents fault the child ma be obese, or any other problems. I think the mom should've taken her out of the school, this mom is just absolutely STUPID!!! AND WTF TEACHERS, STOP TATTLETALING?!?!?! WTF. i thought this only happened in movies, but in real life these teachers, oh my god.

AND HONESTLY this girl is a major idiot, kick them, cause them physical pain and maybe the teachers will understand what she is going through then.

and sorry if i'm coming on a little hard because i've never really been bullied, i was always more of one of those kids that hangs out with a lot of the "cool kids"

Well, that's very fortunate for you, but the the others who don't have that luck, who knows? Maybe the mother did not have much money and could not afford to transfer schools, maybe her job would not allow her to homeschool her. And as for the teacher, the stupid part of the issue is that they DIDN'T do anything. They're job is to educate us, but at the same time, they are responsible of us while we're on school grounds, and are supposed to be able to be trusted to deal with conflicts.

And let me tell you something. For all of you who don't know the difference between tatletailing and reporting someone. The first is telling something that might or not be true, but is intended to hurt the person in question. The last is standing up for yourself and/or someone else, and attempting to put a stop to an action that is hurting someone, by alerting the qualified people (in a school situation, this would be the teachers or the principal).

Oh yeah, and one last thing... it doens't take much to get bullied. You don't have to be fat, ugly, etc. All it needs is for someone to be so cruel and stupid to lock on one person and harrass them for the rest of their miserable school year.

Just think about this.

Sincerely,

Comathi
