Chrome OS Vanilla in VirtualBox

Hello,

I recently installed VirtualBox on my computer and then downloaded and created a new virtual machine, Chrome OS Vanilla. When I loaded it up, it was rather slow. I dedicated 4GB of RAM to it, and 128MB of video-RAM, along with 2 CPU cores. I enabled 3D acceleration also.

Is it just my computer's specs, Chrome OS Vanilla, or wrong VirtualBox settings making it go slowly?

P.S. Disregarding the sluggishness, Chrome OS Vanilla is pretty fast and awesome.

I have no idea but your specs look fine for running it to me although I could be wrong :? lol running stuff in a virtual environment tends to be slower than anyway.

I wouldnt bother with it to behonest because its just the chrome browser with a login screen and everything you can do in chrome os could easily be done on standard chrome browser. I know its about speed etc but £300+ for a chromebook and you cant store files on it or even use it without an internet connection I would rather spend £200 on a laptop with higher spec and be able to do more with it and not require an internet connection to use it :P lol.
