Absolutely shattered!

Theres only 7 days until Christmas so I thought I better get off my backside and start all the exhausting boring jobs of cleaning and putting some decorations up. Since 8am this morning ive been washing up, wiping down, tidy things away, hoovering, mopping the floors and even took the plunge and gave the toilet a good scrub :lol:

So now the place looks and smells clean (probably turn back into a bomb site next weekend) and later on I will dig out some decorations and put those up for when the family drops in ..its mainly for the kids (not mine I dont have any yet thank goodness lol).

I decided to leave the food shopping until next week because thats when prices of food goes down because with only a week to go the supermarkets need to clear their Christmas food stocks ASAP and im just trying to think of what I need to buy :?

Biscuits, Christmas Cake, Stan pie (I like that), Mince pies, Pringles lol, Some selection boxes, Chocolate Gateau, SPROUTS!, Turkey or a Chicken, Milk, Bread, BOOZE!!!!!!, Peanuts and general snack food...

I already have some stuff but am I missing anything? lol

I also need to stock up on some essentials because if the snow suddenly kicks in big time then I dont want to be going outside to the shops etc...its so stressful I dont know if im forgetting anything which I know I probably am lol.

Well, usually, in Canada, we get a ton of snow. But this year, we have gotten nothing but rain. I'm not complaining, because I hate snow :lol:

Anyway, we already bought all the Christmas food, and the tree is up.... Now all we have to do is decorate it :D

Ya know, with the amount of i buy, and every year i say the same "I dont need much" is probably enough to feed 6-7 people at one sitting..

Yeah there is always plenty at Hungry's House cooll;

Boxing day is always Cold Meat/Bubble & Squeak & Pickles, yeah i love that.. then Finish off what was left from Xmas Day Evening Buffet :) Then there is the cake/Mince Pies, Chocolates etc... I usually am still eating Pigs in Blankets months after ( thats the beauty of the Fridge/Chest Freezer...
