Hello Codenstuff minecraft players!
I just came up with the best idea. As many of you may know, Antvenom, Captainsparkles, and alot of other youtube legends got together to host the survival games in minecraft. I thought this would be a fun map for all of us to play together. So who is with me? The only sad part is, is that I cannot find anywhere to host such a thing. My computer cannot host servers anymore, Vik's servers are too slow, and I can't find any other options. Is there anyone who can host this? Thanks fellow minecrafters, and goodbye.

How much ram on your host and your internet speed?

I have asked everyone on vikcraft to host it but no one can, you should ask Martin.

I gave up the idea of hosting a server, however I might get a new, better computer in September or on Xmas. Sadly minecraft doesn't support UDP, like on pocket edition where there is no server and the clients basically connect to each other and share the map. I'm planning to code such a thing but not in the near future as I have other plans.

Does the speed of a server depend upon the computer, the network or both?

Both internet and processing power must be fast. Slow internet would cause lots of lag, it would be hard to chat or to do anything, with a slow computer you would often crash getting an EndOfStream error which was happenening a lot on my server.

I can host it i have 3gb of ram and i play adventure maps with mates all the time, no lag, never crash and i can record as well cuz i have fraps and it works nolag while server is on

I'm not going to use my big work laptop with 24gb ram but 8gb ram
