Hello,
What is going on with the computers these days :? it seems like every other day someones having a problem. At work we had 8 customers bring their PCs in because they were acting funny and needed reinstalling and today for some reason my computer has just gone blooming loopy lol.
It keeps re-organising my HDDs changing their order and ive had a couple of folders vanish without a trace aswell. Spent hours scanning and probing my computer and found nothing..no viruses or anything. I downloaded some updates about a week ago so im thinking its probably that but I cant remember which ones so it looks like another re-install for me  :x
I reckon Microsoft are systematically taking us out 1-by-1, we are being assassinated lol
Ive never seen an error like this before so its very odd. I hope a re-install solves it :?
Wish me luck wont you cooll;

Hey Codenstuff,
That's some funny reactions there. Do these systems have proper security installed?

CyberSynQ: I havent had a firewall or antivirus installed on my computer in years, I only install antivirus when I want to do a system scan every 6 months or so. Hackers dont scare me lol.

Hey Codenstuff,
lol. I hear that loud and clear. But you never know when you system might just shut down on you or you might just receive your birthday gift of a nice BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). lol. And, XP does have a built in firewall so I don't think you can prove that you had no firewall on you system in a long time (Even though it serves no worthy purpose).

Could have been filesystem corruption, though it wouldn't be supprising if a virus caused it.
Yeah my computer was messing up too!
For some odd reason my main Drive started to delete files by itself...
I had to do a system restore.
