so ive search google and code'n'stuff but i cant find anything on how to make a video converter
is there anyway i can convert a flv,avi,mp4 into a mp3 and be able to fill in the artist and album

The only way to make your own is to find out how the file formats are laid out for the files that you want to convert. You would also have to make algorithms to transcode data between the file formats.
Unless you have a good reason to then you would probably be better off using a converter that someone else has already made.

The file format remains unconverted if you do that.

all that does is change extension does not convert at all and might even mess it up
Nailing my feet to the floor is easier than using my own muscles to balance, but you don't see me doing that
