I read somewhere that there is a way to recover "deleted" files.

Sorry to say but this software is not what its seems
is not working 100%

I have try allot of recovery software and still its never 100% sure you restore all your deleted files.

Have you tried PhotoRec?

I use Recuva (From the same company who makes CCleaner) to recover deleted files from my hard drive. I've only really needed it for photos, and music though.
