This would be a good system, as some posts are just spam and useless and some people just post stuff to start arguments. Would love to see this in place and working cooll;
I agree, this is a great idea. cooll;

I agree with GoodGuy17 part as well though, as if you buy lets say a Mac Pro for $2,499. You can't just jack it away. I don't even think temporary would be relevant for it either, but temporary bans, loss of credits, disable their blog temporarily, as well as the the loss of privileges as well like not being allowed to use the chat, upload an attachment, etc:

How many time have we had to remind everyone about the rules and rep system etc ? :? ..ive lost count.

Always use the Rep system if you just want to say that you like or dislike what someone posted. If someone posts something that you think is copied from somewhere else or whatever then instead of "flaming" that member by posting negative/argumentative stuff in a reply I think the best thing to do is report it by using the report button shown in every single post:Image

Press that button and just explain why your reporting the post and a mod will deal with it appropriately. That way the posts dont get messy and you still get to voice your concerns and action will be taken if needed ;)

Making negative posts and some members constantly breaking the rules also makes it harder for me to add new stuff and updates to the site because I end up having to change the templates and putting notices up everywhere to remind everyone of the rules so I dont have time to do anything else to improve the site.

Maybe we should have a page thats like a wall of shame and users who break the rules/have warnings are listed on that page for 30 days so everyone knows they have been naughty lol it may discourage people from breaking the rules because NOONE would want to be on there....just a thought.

It all comes down to common sense and consideration towards your fellow members cooll;
