If someone were to get three warnings, how long would the ban last?

Well it all depends on which rules are broken and how they were broken. An example would be if someone uploaded a virus then that would be an instant ban..BUT if someone uploaded a file that contained a virus innocently (which can happen because you can have a virus on your computer which infects other files without you realising or knowing) then no action would be taken. It all depends on the circumstances.

Its basically 3 warnings = ban and the warnings stay on your account for 30 days so aslong as you dont get 3 warnings within a 30 day period your ok. Unless you keep breaking the rules and then you would just be banned without warning.

A ban lasts forever because if someone keeps breaking the rules then they obviously dont care about the site or anyone on it. 9 times out of 10 if I see anyone breaking the rules I will just PM them and ask them not to do it again and I only give warnings/bans in the most extreme cases but thats because im a softy :lol:

mmm depends on the Person and what they are Banned for

I know a lot of people on here probably think I am a Bit Harsh the way i go about dishing out warnings and the Like But let me tell you, I dont like doing it one bit, It not only puts me in a bad light and people then think i just do it because i can, as I am a Moderator... But I do it to set an Example to others, as you have to have rules and their is no point saying to someone i will Ban you, when you just cave in and relent.

We have some really excellent Members on here and i am sure Codenstuff is very Proud of how this site is turning out, and what with the Plans he has for next year, I think the site will come into its own, well it has already

So hopefully we wont have to Ban anyone, I mean who would really like to be Banned from Codenstuff, I know i would probably be lost without this great site, So its up to you all to Enjoy it and HELP US HELP YOU by being the BEST site out there that is real and not FAKE like all these other sites with Faceless People spouting Rubbish and spoiling things...
