I havent used a MAC in years but I have to say that MACs are the best if you want to do any serious graphics/video editing but PCs will always be better for everything else.

I think for the last poll option you mean there are better architectures out there?
I'd vote for PCs because compatible hardware is cheaper and widely available. I'm sure the software matches up in capabilities.

People, If you want a nice and simple and beatiful and pleasureful workspace but a not efficient machine then buy a mac.
If you want a highly customizable useful universal and efficient machine then buy a pc!

I have used Macs for over 13 years in Work and home use, and they are more than capable of Opening 7 gig documents ( which i dont think a PC would do?? But if anyone can open a 7 gig or more document full of text Pictures etc then i will eat my words ) and they are more efficient than any Pc i have ever used...
