Hello,

I would really like a button you can click to notify the user that they had a good post or bad post. I know people are going to tell me to use the rep system. I do use it, but it is not what I mean. I don't want to tell them praise or something in this case; I want to notify them that their post was good or bad. Their could be a smiley face and frown face, to represent good and bad. It would send them a PM that their post was good or bad, or there could be an option in the User Control Panel to view posts in order from Best to Worst. So the post that got the most "Good Post" would be first, and the one that got the most "Bad Post" would be last. Of course the OP would still be first.

Tell me what you think of this thread, and if you like this, take this as an example as what you could use the Good and Bad post buttons for

This was also brought to attention before in the form of Like and Dislike but I don't know what happened after that. Cody just didn't add it.

We already have a feature like that..its the rating system in the yellow box at the top of each topic cooll;

Why have you got to display whether you LIKE or DISLIKE something that a Member has Posted? as Codenstuff said above, there is the Rating System, which gives everyone the Opportunity to Rate whether they like the post or not.

Its exactly the same as Like and Dislike except you can give your Rating a Maximum of 5*/ If you dont like it then you give it ZERO Rating or any inbetween.

If you are ALL not using it then i cant see no point in changing it for something that you all wont use :?

Well, if we are not adding like/dislike, can you add a button on the OP to view rating stats, and view the ratings from users?

Like if I rate a topic 3 stars, and (for example) Usman rates it 4, I can go view the stats and see that Usman and I rated 4 and 3 (respectively).

I would like the like/dislike too. I would like the like/dislike or the ratings feature more if we could use the feature on single posts, not just the topic as a whole.

Also, the rating system (in my opinion) would better if there were 6 buttons labeled "[0] [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]" and not a drop down list.

Just my opinion.
